okay, so before anythin else I just want to say that my post for today has nothin to do with my previous post. teheee

so yeah, the quote comes from Sun Tzu, a historically influential figure from the Qi dynasty and author of "The Art of War".

anyways, enough of the history lessons, I just came about this quote a while ago while I was playing. so yeah, a few of my friends know that I spend most of my free time shooting my way through the streets of Liberty City with my kick butt Russian companion, Niko Belic(neh, GTA burns me out). So yeah now I had a changed of scenery, I decided to try somethin new, which lead me to try Rainbow Six Vegas(yes, I know, to all the gaming addict out there that Tom Clancy's Vegas was soo last season, hey I did say something NEW right?)

It's a kick ass game, really...As I've told my brother a while ago, the game ain't that too much of action packed unlike Call of Duty or too scary like Left for Dead and it seriously doesn't ave all that weird sort of crap like Resident Evil or Silent Hill. So playing from an amateur player's kind of view, the game is a thumb up game(just a thumb, not thumbs okay?) , as not only does it cater to a gamer's craving for excitement and sheer fun, not to mention how it brings out the soldier in each one( using the Snake Cam is so uber fun!) It sorta opens the gamer's eyes to one of the world's bitter reality(how various areas in the world are slowly succumbing to defeat against numerous terrorist attacks). It's game play is really simple and not that complicated)as there will be a tutorial at the beginning). The game is really awesome,however I apologize to all due to my inability to give constructive criticisms, I haven't finished the game yet so again I apologize. never the less for those who haven't played it yet, you guys should try it!

Another game that I have been constantly playing these past few weeks is Resident Evil 5. If your a fan of the Resident Evil series, this game would definitely top your list. hm..If you've watched the movie...uhm at least we can say this game is sort of a spin off(preferably, the games are better with the whole explanation stuff and all). What I like the most about this RE is that it has CoOp settings(preferably with a partner), so unlike all the RE games in which you have to stop,drop and roll while hideous zombies run after you ALONE, here your actually joined by a partner(which can be an AI or with another gamer).

The game is actually years after the Raccoon City incident and everyone is living their life differently. Your character control here is Chris Redfield and your new partner in crime is an African native, Sheva Alomar(for those who aren't that familiar with the game, Chris' original partner was Jill Valentine, however due to a certain accident Jill became MIA, later on she was declared dead.)however you can choose to play Sheva after you finished playing the whole game. Again I apologize, for like Rainbow six Vegas, I haven't finished playing the game yet, however I did get to watch my brother finish it...

so the game's whole plot is simply about the viruses from the previous games and how bioterrorists are using them for their advantage + a new one called "Uroborus", which seeks to "create a new world". From the sound of the virus, It sorta looks cool and impressive, but believe me once you see what it does....EWWWW.

Going back...the characters aim is to stop the virus from spreading and from possibly anihilating half of the human race. However various nuisances stop them from doing so( such as weird Zombie crap and whatsoevers). baisically it's up to the gamer to shoot their way to the finish. All in all it's an addicting game that could not oonly get you hooked to playing but same as those who just watch you play it( neh, that's what happend to me ) so if your's looking for old school action with a pinch of horror, RE5 is the game to beat.

Ladies and gents, you guys gotta hand it to Capcom, cause even after 5 games and counting, Resident Evil still has that cutting edge and no doubt about it, HORROR twist that makes you jump.
