My life in black and white
Puzzle Pieces

Just like a game of connect the dots
We learn to derive things from previous experiences,
We learn to accept the realization that indeed everything happens for a reason.
And that every experience is a learning lesson.
We learn to smile, laugh and cry
We smile when it hurts, laugh to hide the pain
and love till it hurts no more
this is the beauty of it all
and I wouldn't have it any other way

things are going to go nuts...
in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 BOOM!
nah! I'm just kiddin you. It's nice to fool around once in a while. hehehehe...but if ever things did go bananas a while ago, what would've you done? would you panic? freak out? or jump down the building near yours?tsk...tsk...in just a flash, the magical, tiring and exhausting feeling called STRESS is born! well stress can be dealt with in so many ways, some of us just prefer not to coz they think that if they do, they too might be stressed out? stressed much? haha kiddin, so yeah speaking of stress, I got somethin that's sure to take the load of your shoulders. an is a sure fire hit to make " stress" from being the most used word on your vocabulary to just a word. So if your a student and your finals, or just plain school is round the corner, then taking note of this wouldn't be bad for you. So listen up, coz I got two words for you...
MUSIC THERAPY

yup yup! Who would've thought that there was a thing such as this. haha I thought this was just another segment from MTV, turns out this thing is proven. Acoording to Elizabeth Scott of About.com, Music has a profound effect on a human being body. There are some cases in which Music is used to help cancer and ADD patients. Some hospitals now o days are using music to ease pain, ward off depression, movement promotion, calm patients and ease muscle tension. For them, music can greatly affect both the mind and body in so many ways. Amazing isn't it? Well I can't really say that I've tried this Music Therapy, never the less I'm sure all of us, either way have used music in various ways to ease stress, am I right?
- An example that I could give is our daily/monthly/weekly/annual senti/emo sessions. Admit it, you know you guys can't have these things without the right music.Or without a specific song in mind, right?

- Another is on roadtrips. Belive me, a roadtrip would really suck without music, and it's just not in movies or tv shows that things like loud speakers and booming sounds hype up the gang. It really does happen in real life. haha I've tried it so yey for me :))

- Lastly, and most surprising is when it comes to studying, seriously, it helps you ENJOY, what ever it is that your studying, it also helps you understand the topic more. really it does. most of all it eases STRESS.

haha so the next time you got this big geom or chem test up, plug up you ipod or mp3 and burn the midnight oil in style. since were talking about music as stress busters, here are 5 sure fire songs to give you a little sense of relief.
- Gavin Degraw - Chariot
okay, I don't know whether or not because I love One Tree Hill so much, either way this is really a feel good song. It's catchy tune makes you smile while singing along to it's plain and yet astounding lyrics.
EraserHeads - Alapaap
My goodness, these guys are legends! haha they're like one of the piooneers of the OPM industry so can yu still not tell why I love this song? nah, I'm kidding, that's the reason why I love these guys. The song's really a good "road trip" song or "barkada" song, plus the cathy " paparappapapaparappapapapapapapapa" thing in the mid section is so much fun to sing along to.- Neyo - Because Of You
Haha, admit it, anyone would want to just stand up and dance to this tune. or maybe it's just me. haha but seriously, I love this song, just lights up my world everytime I hear this.
- Hillsong United - This is How We Overcome
okay, call me corny but if there;s a genre that really does make me feel good, it's christian music and Hillsong United is just one of my favorites. This song may be a little old school, but I remember the first time I heard this, just makes me wanna sing and dance and jump while worshiping the father.
- Switchfoot - Dare You To Move
Last week's post was all about Switchfoot, so yeah, I'll admit it I am a HUGE fan of these guys seriously. and Dare You To Move is just one of my favorites. This song just makes you want to make a move, and not just because the word " move" is part of it's tittle, the song inspires each one to create his/her movement for the betterment of the world and it's inhabitants, the song seeks to inspire change in each of us.
So yeah those are just a couple,If I give out more, I might not be done with this post in a thousand years. I hope I was able to give a helpful tip to everybody. and that you can use this knowledge regarding Music Therapy in your own way. heads up everyone, coz there's a new school year up ahead and it's full of surprises and surely has stress written all over it.
