Starting September wasn't really that bad. The term is over for me and 2nd term is almost here. How fast time flies us by. Sometimes we forget what truly matters, we fail to appreciate the little things that make up our day.
Going back to how my september started out,it went great. Finally had a chance to watch an authentic RIVALRY match at the big dome. Thanks to my kick ass editor ;) Then I got a chance to get my picture taken with my boyfriend, just kiddin, with my UAAP hard court crushie ;) as to who he is, I think it would be better if I didn't discosed that to the public. Really not bad for September first.
I've also given things much thought, about how regret sometimes eats us up. How anger can take the best of us,and how looking back at the good old days wont change things. We have 24 hours in a day,and instead of spending half of that in "wishful thinking" use it for dreaming. It's never too late to dream. That's the great thing about it. You are never to young or too old to do so. And no one out there has a right to limit you.
Sometimes I wish I was a kid again. I could go back to a time in which I thought it was possible for angels to swoop in and save me,maybe say hello. A time in which I really did believe that I could do anything to change things.but thats the problem when you hit Adolesence. Things such as pressure and EXPECTATIONS start to hit home. And its difficult to reconcile whether you live ideally or expectantly.
Friedrich Nietzsche challenges us to Iive dangerously. Between the devil or the deep blue sea, lies a choice. A choice that entails consequences, and sometimes that is what freaks us out. Knowing that things may not always turn out for the better. We get hurt, end up wallowing in our anguish and vindication. But we can do something about it. We can simply accept the fact that things don't always go our way. And that perhaps is the most wonderful and perplexing thing about life. That is the elemet of surprise, the least that we can do is enjoy it.
We may be stuck in darkness, but when the morning light comes,it is truly breath taking.
